Weekend Re-Cape,Volcano, and Hatcher's Pass!

IT'S A LONG BLOG AND LOTS OF PHOTOS!!

How do you like my NEW BLOG?

A BIG thank you to Ron and Bridget for

some help w/my banner once again;)

Then after picking Olivia from school Friday we were off to Big Lake for the weekend 

don't you just love these moments lol!!

This was Saturday morning the view was so awesome!

Then we were off to Hatcher's Pass for a day of snow machining!! :0

then the kids wanted a photo together(say cheese!)

Then it was time to GO SLEDDING!!!!

This was the highest and longest sledding hill I have ever seen

it was awesome!!!

The only part not fun was walking up it ever time lol!!!

They went down together 4 times!!

Olivia was to tired to go down for a while!!

I had to take a photo of myself so you can see how high we were!!

Then we were off to the lodge to eat some lunch.

The kids love eating together lol!!

so they were practicing while we were sledding.

Then after lunch we were off again to go snow machine w/the kids!!

Then a friend of ours brought his 120 for the kids to ride lol!!

This is Olivia and her friend Dani(its a girl)!!

She took Olivia everywhere on the snow machine.

Even Hunter was really into it to!!

I have a video of him and Rick will show later!!

Can you see the mountain behind me we were up there!!

After it was time to load them all up and head to the cabin it was about 4pm!!

Then while Rick was cooking dinner we got a call that the volcano erupted and

Anchorage got a lot of ash.  Then around 8:30 or 9pm it got to Big Lake but not much.

So that night after dinner Dani cook us some cup cakes and then

the kids got to frost them they loved that part lol!!

Then SUNDAY morning we had a huge breakfast with  Larry and Dani

(sorry to early for got camera @ my cabin)

After they packed and left we played (for the third time) checkers with the kids.

They were playing with Rick gear lol!!

We also took a quick fam photo before going home;(

Then when we get home WOW!!!

there was ash every were I took a photo of it on Ricks truck

Well it has came and gone we can all take a deep breath now!!

I was praying that we would all be together when it happened and not the kids in school

or Rick @ work and God truly answered my prayer.  We were together and safe!!

What a way to END a weekend

THANKING GOD!!

This is what we woke up to Sunday Morning

And of course Rick had already headed out to Big Lake to snow machine

so it was my job to clean the car off;(

But was soo sweet Hunter said to me that he could do it for me:)

Then a Birthday party at Bounce Bear

my girlfriend T's daughter turned 7!!

Okay so I have been trying to eat healthyER!!  Its been a week and NO COFFEE!

NO CHOCOLATE!! NO WHITE STUFF!!

   

so water and fruits and veggies its been 1 week and a day and I feeling pretty good

I weigh in tomorrow;o thats me screaming lol!!!

 

After school Friday the kids wanted to go into this NEW place

called Kid-to-Kids we thought it was a computer place for kids stuff

but no its a second hand store and

the other side is a Mac store!!

I'M SCRAPPING NO MATTER WHAT....

Okay on Thursday (and Friday) I deiced to scrap while the kids were in school no matter what needed to be done around the house.  And I have to say I really enJoyed my self and got a lot done;) 

I started a year and re-view! I know every one is doing one but its my first time and I'm really

liking it;)  The only part that is hard for me is picking which pictures I will use for that month 

Here is January I still need to add my journaling and some embellishments!

Then March but still need

to add some more photos!!

The just for FUN I did one lay-out!!

WOW!!! What will I get done when the kids are in school all day lol!!!

Weekend Wedding:)

SO Saturday was THE WEDDING we all were waiting for;}

Jill looked sooo pretty already but I did her make-up

for her and her sister!!

Then it was time for the dress;)

It was so her

"Beautiful"

Then I ran into a girlfriend of mine Ida

(she is also PR lol)

miss hanging out w/you girl;(

We also got to see CAMI my girl she life's in Seattle now;(

(yep!! I cried when we had to say bye)

She was my babysitter and took care of Olivia 

when I went to have Hunter.

Then we took a Fam photo;)

The wedding was over but the reception did not start til 4pm

so we decided to go eat @ this place lol!!!

Its on International the hours are different but the kids have been wanting to

go for a while here are some photos of the inside!!

YEP!! We had ALLIGATOR Creole style lol!!!

They even had red beans and rice too! 

The kids liked it not sure if we will go again for a while

it gave all gas lol!!!(Rick was the worst but then again every thing gives him gas lol!!)
