Let's do SOMETHING FUN!!!

I got up this morning thinking lets do something FUN with the kids.  It was nice outside today so outdoors we go.  We went geocaching. What is it? Its like a scavenger hunt with a GPS on hand.

Just in case you don't know what one looks like here it is.

Olivia took us to the first cache we were looking for. 

We found it, the kids were so excited to see the box nailed to the tree.

We opened it but someone forgot to fill it with some treasures.

But we didn't, so who ever goes next will find some goodies!!!

Next it was Hunter's turn to lead the way to the second spot.

Olivia and I were talking and walking.  Rick deiced to let everyone know that I came along.
The second place lead us up this trail.  But with a lot of searching and digging no luck on finding the second treasure box:(  But thats okay we had a great time and exercise.

Olivia loved the dandelions, we had to take a picture of her sitting in them.

The other day we took the kids to the  park.  To play on the swings and jungle gym.

This is the closes thing that my kids know about covering some one up like we use to do @ the beach!!LOL

I don't know what it is but even grow up have FUN @ the Park.  Take a look @ this crazy couple

Well after that we decided to play soccer w/Hunter and Olivia just for fun!!!

Before we knew it Rick and i were playing soccer with 2 twelve year old boys and Hunter was our goalie and Olivia was the other teams goalie.  Rick looks @ me and says "So do you want to be nice or smoke them?"LOL

So guess what we did?   The only thing 2 mature adults would do, we talked in codes and SMOKED THEM!!!!!LOL  

Sad Day For Me:(

It was an okay day but if you asked the kids as long as its not raining or snowing its a great day to play outside.  I found this @ a yard sale for about $20 (what a deal)!!  I know some of you do not like to yard sale but I enjoy it.  I don't get to go as often as my friend Briget and her mother-in-law (they go every Saturday morning)!! crazy right:)  But sometimes you find a deal you can not let go by.

So its about that time my mom is all packed and ready to go back home to TEAXAS!!!

It was a sad day for Me and the kids!!  Poor Olivia cried all the way back home!  Well my mom made it home 6:00am Alaska time Saturday, 31 May 2008.  we love you mom and really enjoyed having you here for a month.

Well after taking mom to the airport we came home and got pizza from Costcos.  Then we sat and watched a movie (from Netflix) with the kids.  It was a Veggie Tales night it was  "Larryboy and the Bad Apple"  it was to cute:0

I recommend it for a family flick

Its not summer until....

Its not SUMMER until Rick builds something for the kids in the back year.  Last year he added a rope swing to our jungle gym the kids loved it.  This year it a home made "cable swing?"

Olivia and Hunter enjoy it so much.  I thick Olivia just like the idea that she can scream all the way down.  She cracks me up! LOL

Hunter has gotten to the point he will do it with out his sisters help!

Girls Day Out to the Spa!!

My mom and I had a SPA DAY!!!!  It was awesome we started by changing into bath robs that are so comfortable.

We had to take photos of the flower arraignment that are so unique.

So my mom got the Hot Stone Massage which was to die for.  As you can see here she is so relaxed I could not get her up.LOL

I got a Ultimate Facial.  I also had to get a lash tint that I hear its a must do.  I loved it!!!

After all that hard work!!LOL  I took my mom to a place I so recommend you to eat @.   Its called the White Spot and order there HALIBUT sandwich.  They are located on 4th. 

Then we walk next door to the Fur Gallery to just to LOOK!!  The Beaver fur fells like silk:)

I had such a wonderful time with my mom today, she is not only my mom but my best friend.  We have such a great relationship I can only pray that Olivia and I's will be the same.

Memorial Day Picnic!!

My church (Victory Christian Center) has a picnic on Memorial Day every year.  This year we had it Campbell Creek Park.  This is what the flies looked like this year it was awesome.  We not only feed the homeless but are able to share Christ to families.  We give them HOPE.

This is our out reach leaders wonderful people. 

We had games for the kids faces painting, cookie making, and a cup cake walk.  too cute:)

The friends @ church have really made my mom feel welcomed!!! 

After the picnic we bought the kids some bubbles.  My mom even participated in the FUN!! 

LOVE Alaska in the SUMMER times!!!  

My MOM kicked us out!!

After taking my mom to the Saturday Market for an hour, we got rained on:( and went home!! 

My mom kicked Rick and I out of the house to spend some time together. So we went to dinner@ our favorite place, Peter's Sushi Spot, YUMMMIE!!!!!

We had to sit @ the bar so we could see the sushi-chef (Peter) make the food in front of us, it is amazing to see.  Have I told you how much we love sushi?

So after dinner we went to the movies to watch Narnia. It is awesome the way they do the effects and images now a days. It is a must see if you have seen the 1st one.

 

So on the way home we looked up and see this beautiful rainbow. What a way to end a wonderful date with my hubby:)

What have we been doing?

Every one keeps asking what have you been doing with my mom here!!  Well just about every thing under the SUN if possible:)  Took my my to the Alaska Zoo with the kidos!! FUN

The Black Bears were out playing for a while them it was nap time.  They look so cute behind bars!! LOL

 

Then thanks to my girlfriend Ronalyn for taking the time to do a photo shot of my mom and me.  We went to the Botanical Gardens (no flowers yet) but the sunset was awesome!!

Then on the way to the photo shoot my mom got to see her first MOOSE in the wild!!!!

  

Hunter's Fiesta!!!

Today Hunter had his Fiesta!!  My mom was so proud to see him singing in spanish and saying his lines in spanish too.  Next year he will graduate from Somos Amigos and go to Kindergarten.  (He cant wait for that)!  Here are some photos my mom took:)

So today was a very special day.  Our little girl graduated from KINDERGARTEN!!!  To think she will be in 1st grade when school starts again.  She is not to happy to go to 1st grade though I think she thinks she will not be able to see all her new friends but I have told her there will be old ones and new ones.  Yea she did not buy it:(

Got together with some girlfriends to scrapbook but Ronalyn was showing us how to DIGITAL SCRAPBOOK a little.  Which I still have not even tried to attempt :)  Then after we scraped a little or should I say Me, and Paula tried to scrap something!!!LOL  It was just nice to hang out and we even got to see Tonya:)
