1 Sunny Day?

Here in Alaska when you get a sunny day you better go out doors.  We did just that to the park we go.  We left the house around 11:30 am and enjoyed the sunshine!!!  

We even took the nabor girl with us too;)

While the kids play on the swings I get to run on the track there @ the park!!!

You read right I said run;0LOL

Then after the kids had to show me some monkey bar moves!!

Olivia loves being upside down (silly girl)!!

After all the FUN the kids wanted to have a picnic @ the house so got some Mc a Ds for them

put a blanket out and they had a ball!!

After lunch it was time for some water gun fights and water balloons!!

Olivia got me twice;) 

I love seeing the kids enjoying them self's as I fill up water balloons and tied them off for them.  Hunter and Olivia were laughing and freezing @ the same time.  Got to love ALASKA!!!

On a Date!!

I wanted to start by telling you a little about the man I feel in love with (and still I'm).  When I was young I prayed for a guy that would be taller then me (which is not to hard to be) for him to have green eyes blond hair and when people would look @ him that they would say he looks very manly (that there would not be no question that he is a man).  I say God had Rick picked out for me long before my pray that night.  He works so hard for us and enjoys being with us.  I have said it before he is close to a perfect husband, lover, and father there is.  He is my P.S. i love you.

Then Rick gave me my gifts!!  

I got him some gift cards from Sportsman's and REI-Rick will be going on a hunt in Aug. for

Caribou.

Then off we went baby-sitter came over we left @ 6:00 pm to watch a movie "Wanted"

We were like two high school kids kissing holding hands being silly!!

I so love this man!!

It was not so nice out side at all:(

Then off to dinner we go to "Romanos"  we have not been there in a long time.

It was great as always!

The we went to the Bear Tooth for a 10:30 pm showing of "21" it was a good movie (did not think I was going to like it)! 

Then we ended the night @ 1:00 am can you believe it!!  I told Rick I felt like high school kids  sneaking in  the house and giggling about the night!

And after the babysitter left we went up and gave the kids a kiss!!  Sat and talked a little more about the movie and . . . .  (LOL!!!)

15th Anniversary!!!

It all started 16 years ago (wow how time flys when your having FUN!!) there was a girl and a boy that fell in love right away.  You know the saying "You will know" it really is true.  When I meet Rick I knew in my heart he is the one.  We meet in Montgomery, Alabama in 1992 were Rick was stationed @ the time.  A few months later Rick got orders to Texas.  I was heart broken (and he was to but he won't admit).  Later I moved to San Antonio, Texas with him (it was the day after Thanksgiving 1992). 

 

We look so young!  We were in our twenties here.

 

Then we decided to go to Los Vegas to get married (because my family at the time lived in Alabama and his family was in Florida).  So July 1993 we got married @ the Imperial Palace! 

We sent announcements out to the family and off we went.  I regret I did not buy the video that the guy that married us told me to get but we took photos of ourselves here and there. 

Rick planned the whole thing @ the time it was 548.00 total (that included the flight 5 day stat @ the hotel w/a limo ride to the court house)

Then we did it all over again in Alabama @ the church we grew up @ and then reception @ my moms house.  My mom made my dress my sister made the cake (while she was 6 months pregnant) it was more for my mom then me and that was okay!!!

This photo was our 1st photo we took when we got to Alaska Aug. 1995 (were Rick got stationed after being in Texas for 2 1/2 years) then after being here for about 4 years Rick deiced to get out of the Military (2000) and stay in Alaska.

We decided to have a family and call Alaska home!!!

Girls night out:0

We finaly made it out again for a must have "girls night out"!!  This was before Ronalyn meet up with us.  Tinker Bell does not have anything on us!!LOL

There is we are looking all cute!!!LOL  Erica, ME, and Ronalyn @ The Mooses Tooth for dinner.

While @ the table we are eating and talking we ask (we will call him Larry) to take a photo of us.  But before we could pose he gave us a self portrait of him self!!LOL

Then its the girls turn (its the YA, YA sisterhood) LOL!!!!

Be very afraid Erica is turning into one of her vamper carters in her books!!!LOL (love ya)

Then Erica made us get this desert (Moose Pie) made with coffee just what we need!!LOL

Then we had an hour before we meet up with Bridget so off to the book store.

Then off to the movies to see "MAMMA MIA!"

So on the way home Erica and I were talking about doing this more often.  I have to agree with her!!  Also want to keep my girlfriend and her girl in our prayers got this text from her tonight.  We love you Paula and missed having you out with us.
