HEART RUN!!!

We got up and went and had breakfast before we headed out to do 

THE HEART RUN

as a fam!!!

We got our numbers on!!

The sun was out but it as still a little cold!!!

This was the start of the race(it was the 2nd group) those that were going to walk or run!!

We meet up with Rick's co-workers!!

We were getting ready to start(a quick photo)!!

Olivia took this photo before the race started on her daddy's shoulders!!

There was a lot of people!!

Olivia and Hunter walked the whole 5k!!

We are sooo proud of them;)

(Hunter was a little tired close to the end but still did good)

Its the FINISH line  we did it!!!

All the kids got a metal!!

The kids climbed this art thing they have out there

even after the race!!

I think Hunter was not to sure about it but

with a sister like Olivia he will get over it lol!!!

Then that afternoon Olivia had hr 1st residual

We had another piano teacher but switched @ the begin

of the year.  Olivia is now really enJoying piano

lessons now;)

she was so nervous!

But we were sooo proud of her

JUST RAMDOM THINGS OF THE WEEK!!!

Last week when the sun was out Olivia and I deiced to to do her reading

 homework out in the SUN!!!

Awww it was nice;)

Then we got a  little visitor come by to see us!

It Val's little man he is sooo cute

and is always smiling!! 

And Val looks great

she has been walking for health;)

Well the BIG thing this week Olivia had clown day @ school

Then Dad found her this wig lol!!

Then I took her to class to get a class photo

It was great even the teacher dressed up;)

I volunteered @ Olivia's class again (I  think the word is out when I don't have Hunter)

for the second time this week.  But it was nice when I walked in

the class to see Olivia's work up on the boarded;)

For great handwriting which I liked in school 

could it be hereditary lol!!

Then I took Olivia out to lunch;)

She picked Mc Donald's 

I think she was vegging after the morning class work lol!!!

She's back lol!!

She is sooo cute w/missing teeth lol!!

It was nice just her and I talking 

and just enJOying being away from school lol!!

After my hubby grilling us some awesome T-Bone stakes

(I was going to take a photo and forgot) the kids

were out riding there bikes and I was working on my blog

(Rick took a snap shoot of me lol!!)

But before that Hunter and I stopped in @ Party and Crafts 

while we were in there Hunter sooo wanted to get these for

his dad to try(OMG!!!)

and YES!!! I video taped it lol!!

Never a dull moment in the Rodgers home!!

ME AND MY BOY!!!

This is my BOY!!

God truly blessed me when I gave birth to him

(and my daughter too but that will be another blog)

and I thank Him everyday for 

Hunter Thomas

But the other day @ church my Pastor was talking about his relationship with his daughter(who is now 22 yrs. old) that had not been great.  

 He also said that when he was talking with her he told her how

he took her to Disney World, put her in a Christian school and pretty much gave her every thing she wanted.  But the one thing she did not have was a relationship with her dad

 he did not know her.

WOW!!  that was powerful eye opener for me.  There is times when you go about your life running here and there before you know it they are teens.

With that being said when I picked Hunter up from preschool (and it was so

nice out-side) we went for a walk.  It was nice we talked ,we picked up sticks

 

we picked up rocks and throw them in the creek

we talked about birds(and show some) we talked about

moose(and show moose poop lol)!  It was all boy stuff

but it was his stuff that he enJoyed talking about

(it was very sweet)

We took some funny photos(we were trying to look mean lol!)

 and we just really enjoyed being with each other

BUT the best part of it was when we got home and he was talking w/Rick and he

was telling him all about our little adventure.

I WAS SO PROUD TO BE A MOM AT THAT MOMENT!!

Then today Rick got his proud and joy

Koda just wanted to know who else was moving in lol!!

YES!! It will go up and I'm VERY proud

of him killing it

(yep I'm true Alaskan lol!!)

KIDS DAY!!!!

Saturday was kids day down town @ the Denina Center

Rick decided to take the kids but with a twist

they went on the bus!!!

The kids loved it so much!!!

There  was a lot of things going on

Hunter enJoyed the fire trucks lol!!

There was even Cat in the Hat lol!!!

The kids got balloons made

Olivia got a dog

(not surprised)

Hunter got a rabbit

with his favorite color!!

They had a full drag racing sponsored by Napa

it was for kids. 

Hunter said "COOL!"

Then I picked them up and off we went to a Birthday party @ Chuck E Cheese;0(thats me screaming) as I beg Rick to come with me lol!!!

Olivia was in her own zone lol!!!

Then it was time to put the fire out while they played

the Fire Fighter game!!!

I even got in with Hunter on some roller coster thing!!

After we left there we took the kids to eat some real pizza

Then we took the kids to FLY A KITE lol!!

Remember there kites they got for Easter?

Well it really was a great day but not to windy ;(

Its in the air can you see it( lol )its the purple and gray spot!!

There it is in the air!! 

Olivia just enJoyed running around lol!!

Hunter's needed more wind so we will be taking them out again

but he really thought his kite was cool!!

Then I took the kids to Cold Stone after we got home around 7:30pm

and it was not even dark(yea!)

What a way to end a KIDS DAY lol!!!
